Neem Goddess

$8.50

The neem plant is a fast growing and long living tree, native to Burma in India. In India the neem medicinal plant is highly regarded because of its many uses and benefits. Neem oil contains fatty acids, antioxidants, and antimicrobial compounds. These can benefit the skin and may help fight skin infections, promote wound healing, and combat signs of skin aging. Scented with Neem and Lemongrass.

Ingredients: Saponified Olive oil, Coconut oil, Avocado oil, Castor oil, Shea butter, Neem oil, Distilled water, Sodium hydroxide (lye), Sodium lactate, Sugar, White kaolin clay, Indigo powder, Gold mica, and Lemongrass essential oil.

COLD PROCESS
Each soap bar is made in small batches using the cold process method. Each bar is cured for at least 6 weeks to ensure a long lasting and mild soap. In the cold process method sodium hydroxide (lye) is used to turn oils into soap. When fats in the oils and the lye go through a process called saponification, there is no lye present in the final product.
INPUTS
Each bar is packed full of skin loving ingredients, including butters. We never use palm oil, which has been linked to massive deforestation, habitat degradation, climate change, and contributing to the loss of Orangutans and Sumatran tigers. Many traditional soaps use this ingredient. We believe in making the most ethical choices for our planet to keep Earth and those we share it with healthy.

USE
Our soaps are intended to be used on your body and hands. Handmade soap will not leave your skin feeling dry or itchy after a shower. You can either use the bar on a loofah or washcloth for about 10 seconds to get a rich creamy lather. Using this method will make your soap last longer.

CARING FOR YOUR SOAP
Be sure to keep your soap dry in between use. Make sure it sits in a dish that has proper drainage and is not directly under your shower stream. Due the nature of the soap, allowing it to sit in water will lessen it’s life.
