Carrot & Coconut Milk
Introducing a new coconut milk soap to our coconut milk line . I’m always amazed at how every day natural ingredients can benefit our skin. We’ve been brought up in a world where everything that is good supposedly comes out of a bottle. Along this journey of making soap I have found many amazing things on natural ingredients that help promote healthy skin without using chemicals. Our Carrot and Coconut milk soap does not disappoint. Carrots contain vitamin C, which has healing properties. It helps skin recover faster from external wounds and trauma oils. Coconut oil contributes lots of fatty acids. Soap containing coconut oil deep cleanse the skin by removing all sorts of impurities (dirt, dust, dead cells, etc.) and that too while maintaining skin's natural hydration. Scented with Cedarwood, Orange, and Clove.
INGREDIENTS
Saponified Olive oil, Coconut oil, Kokum butter, Sweet almond oil, Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Organic carrot puree, Castor oil, Coconut milk, Sodium hydroxide (lye), Sodium lactate, Essential oil blend, White kaolin clay, Essential oil blend, and Titanium dioxide.
MAKING COLD PROCESS SOAP
Each soap bar is made in small batches using the cold process method. Each bar is cured for at least 6 weeks to ensure a long lasting bar. In the cold process method sodium hydroxide (lye) is used to turn oils into soap. When fats in the oils and the lye go through a process called saponification. Once the saponification process is completed, there will be no lye present in the final product.
INPUTS
Each bar is packed full of skin loving ingredients, including butters. We never use palm oil, which has been linked to massive deforestation, habitat degradation, climate change, and contributing to the loss of Orangutans and Sumatran tigers. Many traditional soaps use this ingredient. We believe in making the most ethical choices for our planet to keep Earth and those we share it with healthy.
USE
Our soaps are intended to be used on your body and hands. Handmade soap will not leave your skin feeling dry or itchy after a shower. You can either use the bar on a loofah or washcloth for about 10 seconds to get a rich creamy lather. Using this method will make your soap last longer.
SOAP CARE
Be sure to keep your soap dry in between use. Make sure it sits in a dish that has proper drainage and is not directly under your shower stream. Due the nature of the soap, allowing it to sit in water will lesson it’s life.
